Newport Beach Tennis Club

Tennis Club · Newport Beach
A private tennis club's courts in late afternoon

A private club opened in 1966 with tennis, a junior Olympic pool, fitness and a social program, per the club. Schedules: club program pages are published on its site.

Why the house keeps it

We keep Newport Beach Tennis Club because it pairs the game with the life around it — opened in 1966, with 19 lit courts and a restaurant, bar, terrace and pool reserved for members and their guests. Tennis first, then the terrace; the order matters.
