Why the house keeps it

We keep Bayside Village for the Back Bay end of the life — slips and dry storage on the upper bay, with several waterfront restaurants reachable by boat from its docks. The marina takes guest reservations for Boat Parade week and the Fourth of July, which tells you how its regulars use it.
